Took two friends shooting today-husband&wife. Gave them a chance to shoot my 9MM Shield. Both liked it but I suggested they shoot it several times before deciding if they each want one.

Locally 9MM "used" Shields are seeking for between $300-$350. Most were bought and the owners thought they recoiled too much and now they want to unload them!

The friends wife thought the recoil of the Shield was just fine.

I like my Shield in both 9MM and 45. I wear one of them daily when not at work in the waistband. The 9MM more than the 45, but both have been good shooting pistols thus far.

I like my MP 2.0 9C. I have broke it in and plan to shoot it today, L/w, but first must get the RV repaired.

I've never owned one but have shot a few - pretty nifty gun for a small pistol. They seem reliable and I like the fact it has a thumb safety though it is small and some people ignore it.

I just load, shoot & clean em... I am really impressed with them and the .45 version is really impressing me. Yes the 9MM is a tad easier to hide in just jeans and a un tucked pull over t shirt but BOTH are great guns for a single stack compact

I've got a thousand rounds+ through the 9mm and 40... including a trip to Gunsite with 'provided guns'. I can't fault them. They darn sure work, and I was surprised to find that the .40 didn't recoil anymore that the 9mm did with 9mm +P ammo.

I would have kept one of them, but they really don't... for me...conceal any easier than the S&W M&P 9mmC with 17 round mags. But, if I didn't have that gun, I'd likely have a Shield.

The older I get the more comforting "bone stock" guns appeal to me. Figure if I get dusted because the gun took a dump, S&W has much deeper pockets than the XYZ Custom Trigger And Muffler Shop
