Will have a 5.11 messenger bag arrive on Saturday. It will require me to carry the AR broken down but it will be quicker than unfolding the Kel Tec, charging it, and getting hunched over to see thru the sights.

Anything that jumps up close will be solved with the Glocks anyway. But if I'm in a different room it will be quickly assembled and I'll go hunting.

The messenger bag is the biggest thing I can carry in church without being obvious!

Evan, which bag is it, Mike, Lima or X-ray? or something different?

Hi Evan, If your church has music, Hazard 4 makes a guitar case that a full size AR fits in. At my church you could sit in the balcony with the choir. I would practice putting my AR together. Have you considered getting a short barreled rifle on a ATF form 4? or an AR15 pistol with a brace? regards, Mike

X ray. I've been attending this LDS Ward for 28 years and its a little too late to become musical.

Evan your bag should serve you well. Beats what 99 percent of the people carry....

The pistol has a brace on it and it is legal to use it against my shoulder. The puppy is loud though!

I put a Black River Tactical Covert-Comp linear compensator on my 8 inch pistol instead of a flash hider. Makes a noticeable difference outdoors but almost no difference indoors with the noise. The flash has dropped a good bit (shrank the fireball after dark) and the person shooting next to me has a better time.

Doesn’t seem to make near as big a difference on my longer barrels.

Barrel length of your pistol? I saw and became enamored with an arm-braced, 10.5" AR pistol at my gun club recently. Checking on the differences between a 14.5" AR pistol and a real 14.5" M4 there appears not much difference other than the telescoping stock.
