I recently purchased some of the new Sig ammo in .300 Blackout in both subsonic and supersonic, 200 and 120 gr respectively.

Today while zeroing my little SBR, "Mr. Shorty" which now carries a 9" Blackout barrel I tested the 200 Subsonic - it has a tiny hollow point and, as expected the bullet did not expand in either water or wetpak (newspaper soaked for 48 hours. It did tumble.

So far the Hornady Subsonic, a 208 gr. Amax and the Remington 220 gr subsonic loads have not expanded in the least bit.

The L-Tech and the RIP 200 gr bullets do expand and I killed a deer last year with the L-tech.
