The gang rolled in starting around 1700.

The Board of officers reps from the Watervliet Rod&Gun club were there to meet us all and lend a hand.

Outstanding job of support from all on the Watervliet Rod and Gun club Board and members they represent!

As things tooled along and folks rolled in, some new faces were seen and met.

Doc Courtney, Melvis, Roadrunner, ACP230, Mr's Doc Courtney, Sarah and Martha Marshall, Chef Pete's partner(Can't remember his name like a dummy!) and several others.

Not a single sourpuss in the house!

Rain came in, and it looked for a while like a repeat of H&S 2003 with the Horizontal rain.

Turned out to be a lot of Growling and posturing by the Manitou, and a nice Gentle (and welcome in these parts) rain.

Bratwurst and Hot dogs were grilled, Mr's GLV's Pinwheels were devoured in .0004 Miliseconds after first introduction, and folks chatted untill they decided they needed to hit the Hay and recover from the Slings and arrows of the road.

The sun comes up early tomorrow.

Rain or shine, with this crew, it's gonna be a good day!

Chef Pete will be feeding us chow that we can't afford to eat every day, and the folks surrounding each and every one of us will be a reminder why life is good.

OH! and I almost forgot.

We are gonna do some training!

The gang that didn't make it, are sorely missed.
But that's why there is a "Next year".

I wish there was more time in a weekend already.

Keep safe!

It seems a conspiracy was afoot.

The second I dropped the Brats on the Grill, Chef Pete "Appeared" to help out.

in less than 2 seconds he had the temperature of the fire figured out, and using tongs in both hands, potentially saved me from burning a Bratwurst.

The man knows how to "Do" chow!!!!

The result was, no Burnt Brats, though a few were "Carmelized" here and there, but on purpose.
