I'll put this here because....well, just because.

So, I alluded to the probability of getting an air rifle for Daddy Day in another thread. Haven't found one yet that struck my fancy, at least that I can look at in person, so there's time now to ask advice.

Looking for a .22 caliber, non-CO2 powered, inexpensive but not cheap (maybe, say, a couple hundred bucks or so) with enough oomph and accuracy to humanely whop tree rats and talibunnies. There are some Benjamin models that look likely, but if anyone here does air rifles and is willing to share some ideas, suggestions, and recommendations, I'd really appreciate the help.
